The trials and tribulations of colon cancer and how I managed this grim diagnosis - safe in the knowledge that I will get through.
This is in response to so many cards, emails and messages of good luck. My friends and family have been instrumental in my progress, but I'm beginning to understand that people are keen to hear how things are going but are reluctant to bug me all the time. Well now - it's all here, but beware, I haven't spared the graphic details.
I am just back from hospital - with two pieces of good news. My hickman line is clear and working and ready to go (it's also a lot less painful) and... the results from last Thursday's MRI scan confirm that the legion on my liver is a cyst (ie. non-cancerous).
Hi Phil, Yeah, thoughts with you like Andy said, in fact have been for ages. Hope the next step isn't too bad; at least starting with a full list of side effects means you can appreciate all those you avoid! Thanks for writing this - it does square the circle well, when it comes to wanting to know how you are without that concern becoming intrusive. Best of luck mate, Adam
